GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

There will come a day
Whether we live in a concrete jungle or house of clay
We'll realize without a shadow of a doubt
The true essence of life and what it's all about

We will walk beyond our limbic system
Moving beyond our similarities with animals and their kingdom
Tapping into the Neocortex portion of our brain
Formulating and rationalizing with a clear caboose to our train

It doesn't take much to change our world
From all the perceptions and BS we have and hold
All it takes is the will to make it so
With follow through commitment and of course the get go!

Politicians come, Politicians go
Guru's will speak with follower's in tow
But at the end of the day it's up to you to formulate
Your own constructive path filled with love away from hate

Whichever part of the world you view with your heart
Becomes your home of which you have an important part
You are not just the citizen of the continent you arrived to by birth
Approach life with gratitude and love and thus inherit the earth!

HUMAN RACE

HUMAN RACE

There are none so blind than those who can not see
That there is no difference between you and me
Personal gain and ego as they scream and shout
Not admitting that unity is what it's about
Years of being out of control has hurt us so deep
And now we're impatiently waiting for a quick fix like little sheep
It's easy to go on a diet when your stomach is full
But now we're in the trenches and back to school
The economy & other social struggles will change as does the season
But we must remember the lessons and the reason
If we continue on our 'what's in it for me' and gluttonous path
If we continue to strike others in a self-righteous wrath
We'll be straight back to zero and perish without a trace
To the point we can no longer identify the human race.
