There will come a day
Whether we live in a concrete jungle or house of clay
We'll realize without a shadow of a doubt
The true essence of life and what it's all about
We will walk beyond our limbic system
Moving beyond our similarities with animals and their kingdom
Tapping into the Neocortex portion of our brain
Formulating and rationalizing with a clear caboose to our train
It doesn't take much to change our world
From all the perceptions and BS we have and hold
All it takes is the will to make it so
With follow through commitment and of course the get go!
Politicians come, Politicians go
Guru's will speak with follower's in tow
But at the end of the day it's up to you to formulate
Your own constructive path filled with love away from hate
Whichever part of the world you view with your heart
Becomes your home of which you have an important part
You are not just the citizen of the continent you arrived to by birth
Approach life with gratitude and love and thus inherit the earth!
