Goodbye to the Past... Hellooo 2011
As this is the last day of 2010 I would like to share with you some farewell thoughts for this year and welcoming wishes for the New Year 2011.
The first thing I would like to suggest is for you to take a few moments today to reflect and write down all the things that you are grateful for whether our family members, special people in our lives or events. Perhaps even list all the important lessons you have learned this year that have made you a better person.
Once you have finished with your thoughts about 2010 I recommend you begin a list of all the things you want to accomplish in 2011 followed by deadlines for each. For instance if you have decided to learn a new language in the New Year write down by which month you would like this goal to be accomplished. Studies have shown when you physically write down your goals then your subconscious mind begins the process of making it happen. Of course, it starts the process, ultimately YOU have to follow through with your commitments... which leads me to the following point... commitments...
Let 2011 be the year that we all commit to being empowered and engaged human beings. When given the choice to be right or kind we choose kind. We take the higher road and prevent adversity by applying patience and common sense. Be giving not only of things but of your time and unconditional love.
I wish each and everyone of you reading this fulfillment, success, patience, love, understanding, compassion and above all HEALTH for the New Year. Let go of anger and angst. Be at peace with yourself and with those who you think have hurt you. Remember hurting people hurt people. Wipe the slate clean, open your heart and mind in 2011.

Welcome 2011!
The New Year is around the corner
With all our hopes and dreams to ponder
Filled with Faith, Hope & Love
We fly forward like a peaceful white dove
Time to write down our goals and intentions
For a New Year of re creation and inventions
Time to say goodbye to anger and angst
No need to take it forward the past is the past
So what do we really want in our lives?
Whether we're children, Grandparents, Husbands or Wives
What are the beliefs that push us forward?
Should we unite as a global community or stand solo as a coward?
Whatever your goal or mandates are for the New Year
Put them into action if you dare
Check your BS & your values on a daily basis
Making 2011 the year of abundance and gratitude not panic and crisis.
